I started my design career as an industrial designer at  Metsävainio Design Oy (1999 - 2004), when I graduated from Lapland University as a Master of Art.

My tasks as an industrial designer included: product concepts, drawing sketches, making physical mock-ups, prototypes and 3D modelling. We did mobile device concepting work for Oulu Universlty, Nokia and Myorigo, but also some outdoor furniture and lightning design, e.g. for Lappset Group.

Since 2001 I worked as a Design Manager and team leader for a small design team in Metsävainio Design.
